In this trek, you would be trekking to one of the beautiful villages of Nepal, Namche Bazaar. It is a getaway to Everest. You can experience the Sherpa lifestyle, culture, and tradition over here. With that, the pictures of the large Himalayas during your trek would just make you overwhelmed.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Kathmandu

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal as well as the cultural hub of the nation. We would be welcoming you at the Tribhuvan International Airport, and after dropping you off at the hotel, we would again meet you for the welcome dinner and briefly talk about the trip. Stay in Kathmandu for one night.

Day 2Fly to Lukla and trek up to Monjo

This day, we would be flying to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, after breakfast. The flight would take approximately half an hour. At Lukla, we would have our lunch and then start walking up to Monjo, an approximately 4-hour walk. Spend the night in Monjo.

Day 3Trek to Namche Bazaar

Today, we would start our trek toward Namche Bazaar, a heavy Sherpa settlement and the actual gateway to Everest. The hike could last 4-5 hours and include steep terrain. Stay the night in Namche Bazaar.

Day 4Namche bazaar Exploration

Namche Bazaar is one of the most exceptionally beautiful villages in Nepal, situated right under the great Himalayas. Almost every trekker takes an acclimatization day at Namche since it is very essential for trekking at high altitudes. Every Saturday, one temporary market is set up in this area, which is called Haatbazaar in the Nepalese language. You get a chance to watch that if we reach Namche on Friday. Besides, you can do a short trek up to Chhorkung above Namche, or you could walk to the short runway at Syangboche to utilize your day at Namche. Stay the night in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5Hike up to Khumjung village and back to Namche Bazaar

Since we are not going to Everest Base Camp, we would be spending more time at Namche. Thus, on this day, we would be hiking up to Khumjung village and exploring the surroundings. There are several attractions at Namche. Thus, you could choose where to go and what to do on these two days. The attractions are like this: Sagarmatha National Park Museum Sherpa Cultural Museum Tenzing Norgay Memorial Namche Monastery Sir Edmund Hillary Viewpoint Khunde Monastery Stay the night in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6Trek Back to Lukla

After exploring Namche, we would be heading back to Lukla. We could reach Lukla in a single day, but we have to walk for 6–7 hours. Lukla overnight stay

Day 7Fly back to Kathmandu

Today, we would be flying back to Kathmandu after having a warm Himalayan breakfast. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you could spend half a day sightseeing at Patan, and then we would move toward Nagarkot. Night stay at Nagarkot

Day 8Bhaktapur Exploration

Nagarkot is best known for its sunrise and sunset views. Thus, we would be waking up early in the morning to have a cup of coffee with a stunning sunrise view. After that, we would head toward the cultural town of Bhaktapur for a full day of sightseeing. Stay in Bhaktapur for the night

Day 9Departure

Today, we will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport as per your flight schedule.
