Trip Overview
Nepal has seven national parks and three wildlife reserves to safeguard endangered species. Though it has only one hunting reserve. These areas however account for 8% of Nepal’s total land area. Among them, the Chitwan National Park provides Chitwan Jungle Safari inside its area.
Chitwan National Park is located 175 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu. It is located at the foot of the Himalayas, and in unspoiled sections of the Terai Region. It is quite a popular destination. Well, a trip to Nepal seems not complete unless you experience the Terai.
On the other hand, Chitwan is also home to one of the last remaining populations of Single-Horned Asiatic Rhinoceros and Bengal Tigers. Chitwan is a great place to see uncommon animals like sloth bears, bison leopards, crocodiles, and elephants.
A peaceful sail along the Rapti river in dugout boats allows you to see many of the region’s more than 450 unusual bird species. That includes the Giant Hornbill, Lesser Florican, and Paradise flycatcher.
Chitwan Package provides the best packages in Chitwan that include a variety of activities.
