Half-Day Nagarkot Sunset Tour

A simple travel inquiry for a vehicle to Nagarkot turned into something much more special — a journey filled with connection, culture, and unforgettable memories. When Jessica and her lovely Japanese-American family walked into the Nepal In Style Travel office and met me at Coffee In Style Café, it wasn’t just a booking — it was the beginning of a meaningful connection.

At 1:30 PM, our group of 8 enthusiastic souls set off for a half-day sunset adventure to Nagarkot after refreshing drink at Coffee In style cafe.

Stop 1: Rani Jhula Suspension Bridge

Our first stop was the peaceful Rani Jhula — a 250-meter-long suspension bridge surrounded by lush green forest and the soothing sound of waterfalls below.

Walking across the bridge, feeling the fresh breeze, capturing photos, and enjoying pure nature was a refreshing start to our journey.

Stop 2: Buddha Peace Park

On the way up, we visited the serene Buddha Peace Park, where the magnificent Earth-Touching Buddha (Bhumisparsha Mudra) stands peacefully overlooking the valley.

Behind the park, we discovered a hidden sunset viewpoint — a perfect alternative if time doesn’t allow reaching the tower. A golden reminder that sometimes, beautiful moments are found unexpectedly.

Hiking to Nagarkot Tower

With enough time before sunset, the energetic group — including yoga instructors and fitness enthusiasts — chose to hike from the bus stop instead of driving.

The walk allowed us to connect, share stories, and admire scenic viewpoints along the way. Their discipline, positivity, and strong mindset were truly inspiring.

At the top of Nagarkot Tower, we witnessed a magical sunset painting the sky in golden hues — a perfect ending to a half-day adventure.
